CREDITS

Developmental history/historic context : No significant research has been done on this building. This building can be seen on the 1932 Sanborn Insurance Map as a welding establishment. The Poss family is reputed to have done metal work in the building for 3 generations. In 1996 when this photograph was taken the lettering on the front of this building said :

Horace G. Poss and Co. inc.

TANKS - STEEL FABRICATORS - WELDING

The picture above was taken when Mike Barker of Dimensional Arts, since moved to Spring Street, had a working metal art gallery here. The intensely worked sculptures (in front of the building in the photo) are by an artist from Kentucky.

Description of present and historic physical appearance: Angelo Viale of Iron-Works International is the present owner and has paved, fenced, repainted, relettered and added an addition to the building on its' north side.
